OVERVIEW
The Introduction to Pistol course is a foundational training designed for individuals with no prior firearm experience. Over a four-hour session combining classroom instruction and live-fire range practice, students learn essential pistol safety protocols, firearm anatomy, and the differences between semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. The course emphasizes proper grip, stance, loading and unloading procedures, and dry-fire techniques to build trigger control and sight alignment. Participants also receive guidance on cleaning and maintaining their firearms, basic marksmanship drills at close range, and an overview of local laws and responsible gun ownership. The class concludes with a practical assessment to demonstrate safe handling and shooting accuracy.
