INTRO TO CARBINE
OVERVIEW
This introductory course focuses on building a strong foundation in carbine and modern sporting rifle (msr) handling, emphasizing safety, firearm knowledge, maintenance, and basic marksmanship skills. Designed for novices or those new to rifles and carbines, the class assumes no prior experience.

This is an introductory course; no prior firearm experience is required.
Background checks are required.
Course Outline
This course will focus on:
- Safety Protocols.
- Firearm Familiarization.
- Handling and Operation.
- Cleaning and Maintenance.
- Fundamental Shooting Skills.
- Legal and Ethical Consideration.
- Practical Assessment.
Firearm Requirements:
Firearm will be provided. Do not bring your personal firearm.
Ammo:
- Estimated round count: 200 rounds will be provided as part of the class.
Additional Equipment:
- Long pants with pockets and belt loops.
- Sturdy 1.5" belt.
- Closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals).
- Crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neckline).
- Hydration system or re-sealable water bottle.
- Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses (optional - we will have safety eyewear onsite).
- Recommend electronic hearing protection or earmuffs and earplugs (optional - we will have ear protection onsite).
