OVERVIEW

The Intro to Rifle course provides comprehensive instruction for beginners on handling, operating, and maintaining the M&P15 rifle, emphasizing safety, marksmanship fundamentals, and firearm care.

Experience Requirements
This is an introductory course, no prior firearm experience is required.

Background checks are required.

Course Outline
This course will focus on:

  • Stance/Body Position.
  • Grip.
  • Sight Alignment.
  • Sight Picture.
  • Breathing.
  • Trigger Control.
  • Follow-through.

 

Firearm Requirements:

Firearm will be provided. Do not bring your personal firearm.

 

Ammo:

  • Estimated round count: 200 rounds will be provided as part of the class.

 

Additional Equipment:

  • Long pants with pockets and belt loops.
  • Sturdy 1.5" belt.
  • Closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals).
  • Crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neckline).
  • Hydration system or re-sealable water bottle.
  • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses (optional - we will have safety eyewear onsite).
  • Recommend electronic hearing protection or earmuffs and earplugs (optional - we will have ear protection onsite).
